澳洲央行總裁暗示降息　澳元重貶近1.7%

【實習記者陳雪蕾／綜合外電報導】澳洲央行總裁史帝文斯（Glenn Stevens）表示，澳洲第2季通膨率在預期範圍內，未來必要時仍有降息空間，升高市場對下周降息預期，帶動澳元一度重貶近1.7%，創2周新低，1澳元兌美元來到0.9053。
 
史帝文斯表示，上周公布的澳洲核心消費者物價指數年增2.4%，沒有超過2~3%目標區間，未來必要時可進一步擴大寬鬆政策，預計匯價波動不會受太大影響。他認為，從總體經濟角度來看，目前澳元走貶是合理的，持續貶值不令人意外。
 
據彭博調查，多數經濟學家預期澳洲央行下周二（8月6日）例會將決議降息1碼，由2.75%降至2.5%。
