查緝非法清理棄置桶裝廢液集團

【李宗祐／嘉義報導】大林鎮和水上鄉分別在去年7月和11月，被檢舉非法堆置4200桶廢棄物，新竹、桃園等地也被發現類似情況，經採樣檢測屬易燃、有害事業廢棄物。

專案小組追查發現，非法業者以人頭承租閒置廠房或法拍土地，棄置未經處理的廢棄物，承租人支付部分租金後即避不見面，甚至將廢液油泥載運至各地農地和排溝渠偷倒，危害環境污染甚鉅。
 
嘉義地檢署今天指揮環保署環境督查總隊和警方，兵分20路分赴桃園、新竹、台中、彰化、南投和嘉義等六縣市搜索，傳拘32人帶回偵訊，將依廢棄物清理法移送法辦。
