釋迦牟尼誕生年 上推二百年

釋迦牟尼的出生時間一直不確定，但考古學家在他的出生地尼泊爾藍毗尼 (Lumbini)發現一個據考建於公元前550年左右的木造建築，是目前為止發現的最古老佛寺，位於目前著名的摩耶夫人寺地下 (摩耶夫人是釋迦牟尼的母親)。釋迦牟尼的出生年代，目前一般定為公元前400到600年左右，專家說，這座佛寺經過進一步考證後，如果獲得確認，那麼，他的生活時代可以上推到公元前600年左右。遺址裡還有一個樹根遺跡，可能是釋迦牟尼出生之樹。傳說他她媽媽在藍毗尼一棵無憂樹下生他。
