染狂犬病鼬獾新增12例

【沈能元／台北報導】狂犬病中央疫情指揮中心今公布，本月18日至22日共檢測36例動物樣材，其中12例鼬獾確診為狂犬病，此次發生地點新增高雄市茂林區及杉林區，指揮中心並決議，案例發生的縣市政府將啟動村里鄰系統進行狂犬病宣導提升犬貓疫苗施打率、加強遊蕩犬貓通報捕捉及推動認領養、評估高風險校園防止鼬獾侵入圍籬設置等。

指揮中心表示，12例染病鼬獾分部在台中市2例（和平區、太平區）、南投縣2例（魚池鄉、鹿谷鄉）、雲林縣1例（古坑鄉）、台南市2例（龍崎鄉）、高雄市3例（田寮區、茂林區、杉林區）及台東縣2例（成功鎮、池上鄉）。總計發生地區為9縣市51鄉鎮。
