國際數學奧賽 台灣獲2金4銀

【大紀元7月27日報導】（中央社記者陳至中台北27日電）台灣學子參加2013年國際數學奧林匹亞競賽，獲得2金4銀，國際排名第8，成績較去年進步。

今年共有97國參賽，台灣派出6個選手，其中台中市惠文中學國中部學生林鼎鈞、台北市建國高中吳博生獲得金牌。建國高中江泓、謝宇觀、王彥稀，以及台北市天母國中余竑勳獲得銀牌。

台灣去年在數學奧賽，名列國際第14，今年有不少進步，但仍沒突破1998年和1993年國際第5名的紀錄。

台灣代表隊目前在哥倫比亞參訪，預計31日返國。獲獎學生可以保送大專校院數學系，金牌可得到教育部頒發新台幣20萬元，銀牌10萬元，銅牌5萬元。
