民主黨黨鞭：參院財政協商暫停

美國參議院民主黨黨鞭杜賓（Richard Durbin）今天說，參議院有關財政僵局的協商將暫時停止，直到眾議院共和黨議員訂定如何調高舉債上限和通過政府預算的計畫為止。

白宮發言人卡尼（Jay Carney）稍早表示，參議院在結束財政僵局的談判正取得進展，但是「我們此刻距離達成協議仍很遙遠」。

隨著調高舉債上限的最後期限即將在17日來臨，白宮希望參院提供化解危機的途徑。

卡尼告訴記者：「我們受到我們所見到的參院進展鼓舞，但是我們此刻距離達成協議仍很遙遠。」
