彭博社報導，黑莓公司（BlackBerry Ltd.）在數年來市場流失給蘋果（Apple Inc.）iPhone和谷歌（Google Inc.）Android作業系統後，已與公司最大股東為首的集團達成以47億美元讓售的暫定協議。

根據23日一項聲明，以楓信金融控股公司（Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited）為首的集團將出價每股9美元現金--較黑莓上週收盤高出3.1%的價位進行收購。該財團正尋求融資，並須經適當評鑑和進一步協商。

一度在市場領先的黑莓因新作業系統未能吸引用戶回籠，被迫在今年尋求併購。

未來6週，由楓信金融控股為首的集團將審查這家手機大廠評鑑，同時黑莓執行長海恩斯（Thorsten Heins）和特別董事委員會將尋求是否有任何替代性建議。
