育兒津貼請領暴增　政院動用20億元救火

【唐鎮宇／台北報導】衛生福利部社會及家庭署署長簡慧娟今表示，父母未就業者的育兒津貼，自2012年1月1日開辦以來，因2011年結婚潮及去年龍年生育潮等因素影響，民眾申領相當踴躍，人數超乎預期，由原本預估的14萬人增加到21萬人，所需補助經費也由原本預估的29億元增至49億元。

為避免影響民眾權益，衛福部除商請地方政府先行以地方預算墊付外，也向行政院申請動支預備金，而政院已於昨同意動支第二預備金20億元因應，地方政府將配合辦理相關撥款作業，儘速發給民眾。
