男生臉部保養的方式跟女生一樣嗎??

我目前18歲男性，大學新生，本身只有早晚洗臉的習慣，洗面乳都用女朋友的(以前在家用姐姐的)，不知道是不是因為這樣痘痘特別茂盛，看過醫生..但只要停用醫生給的藥物還是會繼續冒出來，該如何改善呢??
