港金發局促加快建人民幣離岸中心

香港金融發展局發表成立後首批六份報告，提出包括就加快建設香港離岸人民幣中心、鞏固香港作為全球主要國際金融中心地位的建議。

香港金融發展的報告，研究中國大陸金融業發展與改革，以及香港金融中心地位的鞏固與提升。香港金發展主席史美倫表示，報告提出多項措施，包括向北京中央提出建議，讓香港為中國大陸內地逐步開放資本帳項目做出貢獻。

其餘報告中也有就個別業務作出研究，包括發展香港成為房地產投資信託基金集資中心、為香港開放式投資公司設立法律及監管框架建議，及就私募基金稅務寬免及反避稅措施提出建議，以吸引更多基金落戶香港，以香港作為投資中國大陸的平台。
