人民網報導，大陸工商銀行(601398.SH,1398.HK)將斥資6.5億英鎊投資英國曼徹斯特機場。對此，工行總行昨天並未作出回應。

據瞭解，英國財政大臣George Osborne將於13日赴大陸訪問，將在此期間敲定此合作案。

在曼徹斯特項目中，大陸工行將與投資房地產開發商Argent和建築公司Carillion合作，將機場150英畝灌木叢和停車場改造成一個500萬平方英呎的辦公室、商場和公園。該項目預計將在未來15年創造約1.6萬就業機會。
